Flowers and Garden

I live in Burien, Washington. It is a town that is south of Seattle and right next to Seatac Airport. We are moving into summer and leaving spring behind. Due to our moderate climate and prodigious rainfall we have an abundance of Spring flowers. The most prominent is our state flower, the Rhododendron. It grows to be very large and displays brilliant colorful and lush blossoms. In springtime flowers are to be seen everywhere near my home.

Selling flower photos is not easy. There are millions of images out there and many of them are free. However, the attraction is powerful for me with the variety of colors and textures. So, I keep taking photos of blooms. Also, we have many fun gardens to visit here. Below is a partial list with links to their web sites. To new visitors to this area you might like to check these out and for locals this is a reminder of places to revisit.
