My goal from the beginning was to use the least amount of equipment that I could get away with. I didn’t want to be weighed down with too much stuff. My first serious camera was the Sony RX100 M3. It is a point and shoot camera that can’t receive lenses. I was able to shoot RAW and got great results. After years of that, I moved up to the Sony Alpha A6000. I felt a need to use a telephoto lens for those long shots. Now I have a Sony Alpha A7R II. I currently have four lenses, one do-everything lens, one telephoto lenses, one wide-angle and one macro lens Although I have two tripods I rarely use them.
